公爵（河正宇 飾）為了得到日本貴族秀子小姐（金敏喜 飾）的財產，意欲娶她為妻，而後以其患上精神疾病為由將秀子送入精神病院。為了實現自己的陰謀，公爵將出生於小偷世家的南淑熙（金泰璃 飾）送到秀子的身邊擔任女傭，如此壹來兩人裏應外合，深閨之中不諳世事的秀子和她的萬貫家財根本 就是他們的囊中之物。
